Housing 2 Dorm Reviews at Stockton

My time at Housing 2 was the best first year housing I could have asked for. I met a lot of cool people not only on my floor but in my building as well and it was in a great location. It was a minute walk from the volleyball court and activity building and a 7 minute walk from the academic wing and food court.

Currently, I am debating changing dorm rooms due to my dorm neighbors constantly smoking pot. The smell gets into the hallway and my room all the time. The RA pretends it's not a problem. People in my hallway are also extremely loud all hours of the day. In the communal bathroom many people do not flush the toilets which is really gross. The cleaning lady is very disturbing since she comes by around 8am every day, so sleeping in is very difficult. My room is extremely small, especially since I live in a single dorm. The room itself is extremely old and you can see the pipes on the walls. The dorm does however have both heating and air conditioning. However, when my air conditioning wasn't working in September, I had to keep my windows open since it was burning hot inside. I could not sleep since there is a volleyball court next to my dorm room outside that the students play in until 4-5am in the morning.

My experience has been subpar at most, my neighbors enjoy slamming on the wall right next to wear I sleep while blasting music at 2am, and people here seem to have no courtesy for anyone studying but other than that all rooms come with a fridge, and microwave so thats good I guess.
