Mellby Hall Dorm Reviews at St. Olaf

Mellby is a quiet dorm in an excellent location in the middle of campus. The bathrooms are well maintained and have adequate privacy. The dorms are good sized for doubles. The east side can get rather warm, and there is no AC, so September can be hot, but never cold in winter. There are some accessibility issues as there is no elevator. The lounges have the most comfortable couches on campus and the ambiance fits the old timey exterior of the building.

It was a pretty quiet hall. It was generally clean but sometimes the garbage cans were overflowing in the bathrooms. However it is likely better than most. The location is one of the best parts of this dorm as it is in the center of campus.

A very cozy dorm that has a 'Poconos' vibe to it. Very quiet and easy to access. There are five floors - I stayed on the top floor during my sophomore year and the ceiling has wooden beams that create a really awesome ambience.
