Shade Hall Dorm Reviews at Southern

The cleanliness of Shade Hall at Southern University leaves much to be desired. The RA's/ambassadors fail to fulfill their responsibilities, treating us more like children than the adults we are. Their communication with us is often disrespectful and overall, my experience in Shade Hall has been far from satisfactory.

It’s okay, the RA’s try to make fun activities for us to do and if you ever need help with anything someone is always in the group chat ready to help. If an RA is not available, there are upperclassmen that have stayed in the building before and can help with any questions, comments or concerns.

Overall great, but had air condition issues that took time to be repaired. So it was extremely hot one day then extremely cold the next. Common areas were ok, but not great so, didn't spend much time there.
