1300 Residence Hall Dorm Reviews at Temple

1300 is only steps away from campus and lies only a block from the main dining halls/food courts on either side. Safety is an issue all over campus because of the city, but 1300 requires an ID and security guards are good at catching those who try to walk through without one.

For my first year at Temple University, I do not regret anything. Since you are in a residence all with 90% freshman, it will get noisy at times, but it didn't bother me as much. If you have a dorm on the outside edges of the building, you will hear a lot of cars, hoking, people yelling...What can you expect though since it's Philidelphia?

It is not a bad place to start off at. The room sizes were fairly large and it was nice to have your own personal bathroom. I would recommend getting the fridge and microwave unit in the entrance area.

It was really nice! I liked the area it was in and the rooms felt huge because the ceilings were so high up. There was a pretty indoor/outside study area (among a bunch of other study/common room areas) and it was just a fun time

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the 1300 residence hall my freshman year. It is one of the dorm buildings that really gives freshmen the feeling of having their own apartment and the community across the building was amazing! Would highly recommend to any incoming freshmen.

The city of Philadelphia gets some bad rep, but is a very fun and exciting city. Once I moved onto Temple campus, I was welcomed with charming staff willing to accommodate and help wherever it was needed. The dorms are comfortable and extremely clean. Each floor has an affordable laundry unit and each room also has their own full bathroom. There are many options that 1300 offers students, I highly recommend housing in this residence hall!

I would describe my experience at 1300 Residence Hall as good. I had no complaints while there, I didn't feel unsafe or uneasy about anything. Also, the RA's are very nice and helpful, so If you have any questions they are more than happy to help.

My experience at 1300 was alright, everything was available most of the time and it was up kept. The size of the unit I stayed in was decent and the security was okay, people would have to scan their idea to even enter.

I'm currently a freshman at Temple University, and overall my experience living in 1300 residence hall has been good (so far, at least). I live in a suite-style dorm and it's pretty nice, I have no complaints about the living situation. It's a good freshman dorm.

I had a great time in the Honors LLC located in 1300. For one, the common areas were always bustling; the second and third floor lounges always felt inviting. They were the perfect areas to do homework or hang out with friends and play mario kart; they were truly the best of both worlds! I met some of my best friends in 1300 and would not change my experience for the world.

1300 was an amazing first year dorm! Having a suite and our own bathrooms made it much easier and nicer than your traditional first year dorms. The rooms were also nice and felt more like home than a regular dorm with tile floors.

Overall I had a great experience in 1300 for my first semester. The staff was also very nice and helpful when need be. The building itself was always kept clean. The best part of 1300 was that comments and concerns were always taken seriously and were not just disregarded.

My experience at 1300 Residence Hall wasn’t long as I thought but it was definitely the best was while I was there, they was great staff everywhere you go and great people you meet all around. My dorm was pretty clean and sanitize and it was pretty quiet hallway as well. people were really nice explaining things and well very great at solving your problems. I do recommend going there it will be worth the money!

Before attending Temple I was really excited about 1300. I was really hoping I would be able to get a room there, and I got lucky landing a dorm there. Overall it's a really nice dorm with friendly people and cute common areas.

I was there for 3 weeks and then had to move out because classes were moved online. But it was a wonderful experience. Can’t wait to go back. Very close to classes and dining halls. Nice yard too. There are multiple ra’s on each floor.
