Lakeside East Dorm Reviews at University of Alabama

It has been comfortable and the people living there are nice and polite; however, there are some things that need to be cleaned and updated relatively often. It is in a good location as it is close to the Witt Recreational center and the Lakeside Dining Hall.

My room was always clean! The staff did a great job with upkeep and managing the building. Make sure you get a cleanly roommate if you are a neat person yourself! I never used the common areas, but I did use the laundry and snack areas. The laundry had plenty of space and I almost never had to wait to use it.

Nice dorm. Clean and new feel. Not too noisy except on 1st floor you can hear outside activity such as staff cutting grass early in the morning. Choose your roommates as the personality quiz didn’t place me well with those I would be friends with.

Nothing beats the location of Lakeside East! It's right beside Lakeside Dinning Hall and closer to campus than the other dorms. Its also smaller than some of the other dorms so there wasn't a lot of commotion at night and the students living there didn't trash the place. Everyone got to meet everyone throughout the year and it really added to the campus experience as a whole. 10/10 recommend!
