Gold Hall (New Freshman Residence Hall) Dorm Reviews at UAB

I had a good time at Gold Hall. I loved how it was close to almost all of the dinning areas on campus. I would recommend it a friend who is going to UAB as a freshman. It was overall a good dorm and I had a good time.

I enjoyed staying in Gold Hall, while it did not have a kitchen we were provided with a fridge and microwave. It was very cozy and became a comfort place. Dorming also depends much on your roommate so be sure to choose wisely!

Great freshman dorm experience! Gold Hall was much nicer than I thought I would have at college. Mostly quiet with many possible study spaces. Their new outdoor area is fantastic and provides more study spaces or just places to hang out with friends.

My experience with Gold Hall was the average, good-time college experience. It was very neat and clean with very helpful RA’s. You get your own bed with one other roommate and you both get to share one bathroom together instead of everyone in the hall sharing so it definitely has great perks. Not many cons to list for Gold Hall.

There were many places to study and hang out with friends. There was an area to do your laundry and get snacks/drinks. It was cleaned daily and the security was high (if you did not have a student resident card, you could not enter). The staff and community were friendly.
