Central Campus Residence Hall Dorm Reviews at UAHuntsville

My experience so far as a first semester student here is great. The dorm is centrally located so it’s very easy to get to all my classes. The maintenance for the dorm is not as good as I thought it would be. We do have an issue with some plumbing, and I have sent out a request for it to be fixed last week but I have not got any contact back.

It's right next to the main cafe which is great, but its really quiet and the elevators suck. The common areas in the suites are big but there's literally only one kitchen in the building. If you live in Central, you'll probably be the last to hear about parties

It is a very old building with not the best cleanliness, but it's worth it to have your own private room. Maintenance did not fix things as quickly or properly as wanted. Kitchen area was nasty and old. There weren't any common areas due to covid.

My experience at the Central Campus Residence Hall is okay. I mean this residence hall is good for first time students, but they give us a place to stay so that is something good. You don't have to go outside to get to the cafe. Overall, it is an okay dorm.

Loved it here! some of the best memories made. It is an old building but its got the largest showers on campus so its cool ! I would def recommend to others. It is also the tallest residence hall. 6 floors. and conviently connected to the dining room so thats a huge plus
