Bulger Residence Hall Dorm Reviews at Akron

I have enjoyed my experience here in Bulger Hall. There are opportunties available to interact with others on my floor as well as the entire hall. My room is a great space for me to unwind at the end of my day. It is also a good space for my study and homework time. I will definately consider Bulger Hall as my 'Home away from Home' for my next year here at The University of Akron.

The worst part is the communal bathrooms, some people don't know how to clean up after themselves and leave the sinks covered in their hair. Other than that, it's alright. One of the three elevators hasn't worked at all since I started here this semester and the semester is almost over.

I just moved into Bulger Residence Hall and I have had a pleasant experience so far. I feel that Bulger is a safe and comfortable residence hall and I would highly recommend it to other students. There are some things that could be fixed, but overall it has a good community.

It was frustrating to have to go down the hall every time I needed to use the bathroom, plus my air conditioning unit made a noise that the maintenance guys looked at but couldn't fix permanently. All in all not too bad as long as you don't spend too much time in your dorm.

Every year/semester changes based on the people on the floor. I had years where it's quiet and years where it's very noisy. The dorm is dead center of campus and is one of the cheapest. The location is very nice to get around campus but expects the elevator to go down.

My first semester was pretty good, having a good roommate always makes it better. The room was like any other dorm room. A lot fire alarms went off throughout the year, but it was pretty good. Covid hit at the end of the year so I did not stay the whole year.

My experience at the residence hall was overall great it was few bathroom problems with the girls on this floor. Problems as in not flushing the toliet and having hair on the shower walls. The noise of the floor was actually quiet most of the time.
