Hawthorn Hall Dorm Reviews at UC Davis

Very lively and and close to significant buildings and areas! The dorms are comfortable enough, and the neighbors are very lively! I really enjoy how nearby the dining hall and market are, as well as some classes.

Much of my experience was made by the other residents. Very wonderful people, but it got very hectic and wild on the weekends. Still a very social dorm that I definitely hope stays that way for new students to experience.

I had such a great freshman year staying in Hawthorn Hall! I got lucky with an incredible roommate in a newly renovated, clean, spacious room on the third floor. Our floormates were respectful, but always outgoing and fun to talk to in the lounge and common areas. The dorm is extremely safe - you can't get in without your Aggie Card. The location is perfect, right by the cows, central to campus, and a nice walk to the dining commons. I would live in Hawthorn again if I could!

Quiet Spaces available for studying. Bathrooms are cleaned everyday and each bathroom has two restrooms and two showers available. Hawthorn is located in Tercero which is close to two dinning commons which have a pretty good variety of food.
