Malcolm Hall, Segundo Dorm Reviews at UC Davis

Malcolm was literally the PERFECT dorm. I couldn't have chosen better myself. It's got an unobstructed view of the grass quad area in between the building and the DC (which is the greatest during spring and summer everyone hangs out there to enjoy the sun. The rooms were only 2 to room so the ideal college experience in that I had a roommate but I wasn't crammed. My roommate and I got the side with the view of the DC and the only time it got loud was on picnic day but that is to be expected and that made for some hilarious memories. Not only is it super close to all the main halls, the arc and the best DC on campus but it also is RIGHT across the street from Trader Joes! Best time of my life.

Malcolm Hall is a great place to live when you want to be focused on school. Segundo is definitely not the most social place on campus, but I actually enjoyed it a lot because it was quiet, beautiful, and peaceful. It helped me succeed in my academics because the environment was very supportive and filled with driven people. I wouldn't change my experience in Malcolm Hall for anything.
