Moody Towers Dorm Reviews at UH

The bathrooms need maintenance immediately as well as the elevators since the bathroom sinks are very run down, there are problems with the pipes in one of the toilets, and my room’s air conditioning is very unsatifactory for me.

The dormitory itself isn’t as small as cougar village considering there’s communal bathrooms. Which allows space within the room to not feel claustrophobic. The dorm isn’t loud which allows good studying and good night rests. The culture within the dorm is also quite nice everyone is caring and helpful.

When I worked and lived in Moody Towers I was harrassed by a male student. That student had complete access to my floor and the girls floor restrooms. He took advantage of that on other floors and consistently tried to find what floor I lived on. This happened with other students as well and he wasn't removed.

Overall I had a great experience, I stayed here in my first year and I was very comfortable the whole time. The dorm building was in a good location so it was easy for me to get to my classes quickly.

when I first started back in my freshman year when choosing the right dorm for my first year in college was tough due to pricing, but thankfully I saw that Moody Tower was the right pick since it was cheap, affordable, and well managed by the staff and student.

It is not a horrible space but definitely for the lower income spectrum of students. It does provide a decent living space to be on campus and close to everything, but it leaves much to be desired. I would recommend one of the other spaces on campus as there are plenty more.

I had an overall positive experience at Moody Towers for the price I paid. However, the elevators broke frequently, there was one stall door missing out of four on my floor, and the water temperature was inconsistent. Other than this, I had very few problems. I would recommend this dorm for students who don't want to spend a lot of money on a dorm.

My room is a corner room, which gave us a little more space. Each floor is gender specific. The common areas were very nice. The down side is that the bathroom isn’t in your room. Not a bad place to live, you get to meet a lot of other students living on campus.
