Hale Kehau Dorm Reviews at UH Hilo

Hale Kehau is very nice. It is close to the dining hall which was very convenient! The food was great! It was pretty clean and people were friendly. The room itself was kept well and did not have very many bugs!

Due to Covid-19, University Housing has decided to limit the double-suite rooms to have one person only, allowing me to have a bigger room to myself, which is awesome. But the walking distance to everything is great as well as the open areas and gardens around.

Due to COVID-19, there are a lot of limitations and restrictions for student residents. The living-learning community is amazing. The overall community is friendly. I was lucky to get paired with my roommate. Hopefully when this pandemic is over things will be different.

My personal experience with Hale Kehau was quite amazing. Staying in the dorms on campus is a great experience. Being able to connect with other students and get to know the school very well is great experience moving on campus. I really enjoy the support from the housing program and the amazing help they offer to their students.

It was a great experience. This dorm is very efficient, clean and comfortable, the staff are great and it's only a short walk from campus. The room themselves are big enough so you can have your own personal space.
