Emerson Hall Dorm Reviews at Massachusetts

A great place to live. Small, cozy, people were always open to talking or hanging out... It felt like a second home and a new family. The staff are super friendly, everything is clean, there is a classroom and common room to hang out in... Overall great!

It is a great location in the Southwest Residential Area, and generally speaking it is quiet and very safe. However the cleanliness and the maintenance is sub par, we have mice, bugs and pee stains in the carpet in the hallways. Not exactly ideal.

My experience was great at Emerson Hall! Our RA was really nice and helpful throughout the year, the maintenance and cleaners made sure the hall was always tidy, and my neighbors were so friendly! I loved living there.

I lived in Emerson as a Freshman on a Residential Academic Floor, where we took one class with everyone who liven on the floor in the classroom on the first floor. Overall I loved living here, you get the Southwest experience without having to deal with the noise and inconvenience of living in one of the towers. I met some great people had great times here. The rooms are z-rooms and some of the best in Southwest. There is a common room with a tv, couches, games, a kitchen, and vending machines. RAs were nice and helpful. Only downside is there are only 3 washers and dryers located in the basement for the whole building, so laundry can be a bit of a struggle. Overall, great place to live.
