Living at Van Meter is a very first year experience. Everyone there is a freshman so they want to make friends. However people form groups pretty quickly and it can be difficult to make friends after that. It is a nice location as far as being very central to campus and most classes as well as Franklin Dining Commons. The one drawback is that it's located on top of a hill which is quite a hike.
