Alice Lloyd Hall Dorm Reviews at University of Michigan

Overall I think it was a really good experience. The dorm is right next door to a dining hall, and it is very clean and modern. There are a ton of public study spaces that are ideal for individual or group study. The one negative thing that I would really change is that the walls are pretty thin, so noise carries very very well all throughout the hallways and into the dorm rooms. Otherwise, I think I got really lucky with such a great freshman dorm experience.

I would say that this is overall a solid dorm to be at. I would recommend it if you haven't already been there before. The place is pretty clean and safe, so you don't need to worry about your safety. The students were nice for my level at least. They could be loud at times but it usually was during the weekends so I can understand that. Most of the time the sound wasn't an issue. Overall, it's a solid dorm to stay in.

It was a very nice dorm. It had a huge field where you could go outside and play sports. It had several places where one could study. The staff was really helpful. It was also close by a tennis court.

Alice Lloyd is an incredible place to live. The facilities are all updated and in great condition, the common areas are very well furnished, and the hall has a wide variety of resources for residents.
