Hood Hall Dorm Reviews at FSU

Honestly, Hood Hall is like kind of in the middle of the entire campus. It sometimes takes me three to six minutes to get to class. You can sometimes hear people from around the hall and sometimes people leave hair on the ground and in the shower. On the brightside, if you are listening to music in the bathroom you can sometimes have it loud if you want.

My experience at Hood Hall for my first year of college was different. There are some good and bad things in Hood. For instance, Hood is in the middle of the campus and is near most of my classes but is still not updated as the other buildings. The bathrooms were very disgusting and old. In my room the air was not very predictable, it was either too hot or hold.

When I first arrived to the dorm I thought what a typical name for a dorm of all African-American girls but the residents were very courteous. Although Hood was not the best resident to reside in, it was an experience none the less.

Overall my experience at hood was good. The residents and RA’s were nice, and the location was great since it was in the middle of campus. However the maintenance issues was annoying along with the occasional roaches. But overall it was good.
