Lawrenson Hall Dorm Reviews at Northern Colorado

Some of the people can be rude and degenerate but for the most part I have been liking where I am at. The location is close to the dining hall, and I met most my friends there. Also, the dorm rooms feel like apartments, so it feels like I am living on my own.

The RA's took time to check in on the students living in the dorm as well and scheduled meetings to do so. Both times I roomed in Lawrenson I did have problems with noisy roommates but the problems were typically resolved by talking it out.

My experience at Lawrenson Hall has been very enjoyable. It is an older building, so wear and tear is to be expected. The noise is not too bad, but my neighbors will sometimes play loud music and the people above me stomp a lot at night. It also does not have much of a common space. It has a few chairs and a TV. It might have had more before Covid-19, but as of right now, that is what we call the common space. Other than that, my experience has been great.

Lawrenson hall is quiet enough to enjoy, but also houses enough people to make friends. It has seventeen floors filled with many happy people. It is also pet friendly, so you don't have to leave your pets at home! It has a spacious laundry room in the basement and 3 vending machines on the main floor. Rooms are a nice size with a good kitchen too.

Pretty quiet, spacious enough for sure, safe and in a good location. Floor RAs can be quite strict sometimes though. Maintained well, roommates can be okay, hard to find another room to move to too...

The academic environment created is perfect for studying and quiet enough that you could basically nap at any time. Everything is clean and well maintained, or fixed within a very short amount of time.

Everyone in Lawrenson is very respectful and welcoming! There is no one being very disruptful or rude throughout the night and everyone respects and understands the rules. I have really enjoyed my experience.
