Bruce Hall Dorm Reviews at UNT

It was very nice living at Bruce Hall as a first year student. I was able to really experience life on my own. My roommate was very nice and we got along well. The dorm size wasn’t bad at all and well maintained.

Bruce hall is located at a central location, you can easily walk to your classes and to hangout areas. The staff are incredibly kind and we have the convenience of having a dining hall. My RA is amazing and cares for us and wants us to be as comfortable as possible. Everyone here is attentive and nice. The music is added bonus. :)

When I first was admitted to the UNT, I chose Bruce Hall because of the spacing of the dorm rooms and its close proximity to my classes. Then I met people who made the environment a place that drives people to success like everywhere on any normal college campus.

Bruce Hall is especially nice because it has its own cafeteria; however, since its dorm rooms only include shared rooms, which are not very spacious and which require you to shower and use the restroom in a community restroom, it is not my preferred dormitory.

I haven’t started my semester yet, but i have visited this dorm a couple times. I like the old history of it and there’s plenty of places for music majors to play as well as a great community area and view outside

Bruce Hall was a wonderful freshman dorm to live in. It’s a bit outdated but it’s the best freshman hall UNT has to offer in my opinion. The rooms are spacious and clean for a dorm. No working elevator, but they had wheelchair accessible spaces for residents on the first floor. The only thing I can complain about was the communal bathroom, but it wasn’t that bad. My RA didn’t wear shoes in the bathroom or shower which I thought was a bit odd, but the bathrooms were cleaned every morning. Overall a wonderful hall and I loved living there!

I am a music education major and finished my first year of college undergrad living in Bruce Hall. My experience at Bruce Hall was fantastic. The college of music building was a short distance from my dorm, so I was able to make it to my classes with relative ease and no stress. Bruce hall also included practice buildings with 24 hour access which allowed me to get my daily practice in at any time that I wanted. Lastly, Bruce Hall has it’s own cafeteria which meant I never had to walk very far to grab a bite to eat. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at Bruce Hall and highly recommend it to any freshman undergraduates considering living on campus.
