Rawlins Hall Dorm Reviews at UNT

I made so many new friends at Rawlins Hall. The staff was always so nice, and the halls were always so clean! It is a little far from the union but it is a nice walk. You have to swipe your card in to get into the building. I always felt so safe.

During my time at Rawlins Hall, I had the pleasure of experiencing a positive and enriching living environment that emphasized cleanliness and offered a plethora of resources for residents. From the moment I stepped foot into the residence hall, I was impressed by the attention to detail and the commitment to maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere. One of the standout features of Rawlins Hall was its impeccable cleanliness. The staff members were dedicated to ensuring that the common areas, hallways, and shared spaces were always well-maintained and tidy. The cleaning team consistently went above and beyond to create a comfortable and hygienic living environment for all residents. I was always greeted by spotless floors, polished surfaces, and fresh scents throughout the hall. Beyond cleanliness, Rawlins Hall provided a wealth of resources that greatly enhanced my residential experience. The hall boasted various communal spaces designed to cater to different needs and interests. Whether I needed a quiet space to study, a place to socialize with friends, or a spot to engage in group activities, there was always a suitable area readily available. The computer labs at Rawlins Hall were particularly valuable to me. Equipped with up-to-date technology and reliable internet access, these labs served as convenient spaces for completing assignments, conducting research, and collaborating with fellow residents. The availability of these resources on-site saved me valuable time and allowed me to conveniently access the tools necessary for academic success. Additionally, Rawlins Hall offered well-equipped laundry rooms that made the chore of doing laundry much more manageable. The presence of multiple washing machines and dryers meant that I rarely had to wait for my turn, even during busy times. The machines were well-maintained and easy to use, which further contributed to the overall convenience and efficiency of the laundry process. Another notable aspect of Rawlins Hall was the sense of community fostered within its walls. Rawlins is great for the study focused student. I found it easy to make friends in my wing, and the general atmosphere was welcoming. Lots of DnD campaigns are going on here, so if you're into that, you can definitely find one to join. Rooms are super spacious especially for a dorm.

The FIR was very kind and helpful. I lived on the second floor, so I had high ceilings. I had a roommate and two suitemates that I shared a bathroom with. The RA's care about the residents but do not judge you when you come back late. It is a very relaxing place.

Rawlins Hall is a great hall for music majors especially as there are 4 practice rooms. Rawlins also comes with many study rooms and a library on the first floor. The people here are very nice and the hall is keep very clean and well maintained.

I enough the people and the staff around. The bathrooms are nice, and the dorms are clean an new. The food hall is relatively close and there are working air conditioning. Overall, a pretty great place to gt your education.

I truly had a great experience I lived there for a summer during orientation. It was my first time living on campus and I definitely feel like I had an excellent experience. I had an RA room so I had a lot of space to myself and I loved how clean the rooms are.

It's about as good as dorm experiences get in Rawlins; It does make a difference whether you have a roommate/suitemate. However, my part of Rawlins is one of the loudest during evening hours, so I sometimes go elsewhere in the dorm to do work.

Rawlings is a freshman only dorm which provides a fantastic experience for new and nervous college students. Having a staff that knows how to handle the transition from living with your parents to being independent is amazing and the whole experience was a unique one that led to a really wonderful school year.

It's a great dorm for people that want the college experience but need to have quiet time and study space. Conveniently located. Great freshman experience! I would highly recommend it for someone that wants to be a serious student.

My experiences at Rawlins hall have been amazing the staff are really kind and my RA is an exceptional leader. It is not to far from the dining halls. It is close to the athletic facilities for the sports games which is great.

Rawlins is one of the best residence halls you could choose during your stay at UNT. It is one of the newest buildings and has amenities like no other. The rooms are suite style with private bathrooms, which are much more preferable to community bathrooms. The hall is fairly quiet as most of the students focus on their homework rather than partying. The common rooms include study rooms and lounges for each wing, as well as a large lobby and kitchen. The maintenance and staff of the hall work very hard to ensure a comfortable stay.

It's a great dorm with lots of like minded individuals. Everyone is friendly and great to be around. Lots of practice rooms for musicians and great areas to study. It's centrally located, clean, well maintained and a great location for a freshman, like myself.

Rawlins offers a comfortable living experience alongside in dorm study areas allowing honors students to simultaneously make friends and do well in their studies all while remaining clean and safe during the given circumstances. Overall a great dorm to get a good college experience.
