Santa Fe Dorm Reviews at UNT

It was a relatively nice place to live for the semester that I stayed there. There was a problem that popped up where ants had gotten into my dorm room and it was never truly solved while I stayed there. the rooms were nice and large with a sink and a set of stovetops. the bathrooms were decent, not extraordinary. Just an overall decent place to live. There was also a computer lab in there, but because of Covid, i was unable to use it.

The kitchenette is a very useful add on however we did have ants and I have heard from others that they have had cockroaches so apparently there is a bug problem. I like that each room has its own individual bathroom and AC unit but I wish there was a common room to hang out on each floor.

My experience here can be described as quiet and nice since I was fortunate to have a dorm all to myself. Since I have a dorm to myself I was able to get more done than anywhere else since it is just me in here.

My one year of staying at Santa Fe was a great experience! It's a perfect dorm if you want to have a bigger space and live with one other person. Being able to have a bathroom inside the dorm as well as a kitchen was a nice touch to feeling at home. The only bad thing I would have to say is that the person living upstairs was loud the entire year. It was two men but we never knew who it was making all the noise, but they ran side to side in the middle of the night as if the room were their own personal gym. After many complaints and conversations with them, it never stopped so I wish that would have been solved so that I was able to enjoy my dorm a little bit more.

One of the greatest parts about Santa Fe is the community aspect of college. I love seeing my friends every single day after class. It is so fun just to hangout with everyone. Sometimes we have game nights as well as dinner nights at the the end of the week just to catch up with everyone!
