Pacer Crossings Residence Hall Dorm Reviews at USC Aiken

Sense Pacer Crossings was my first dorm experience. I am very grateful for the opportunity to live there and have my own space to do what I needed as a young adult—seeing a different side of growing up and being on my own to make memories.

Pacer Crossings is the only freshman dorm on campus at USC Aiken, so there is not much of a choice to live there if you are living on campus. The staff is great, including the director and all of the resident mentors. The main concern I had was the safety. We had an incident with a male student who had been sitting outside a female students window, watching her. It was very scary for all of the female residents on the first floor.

My experience have been pretty good. My neighbors are friendly and the location is convenient for my classes. My roommate also agrees that the pacer residence is great. She went to college in Louisiana a year prior and has told me the Pacer residence is much better than her previous residence hall.

The grounds is very clean. The apartment can be as clean you you and your suite mates keep it. I enjoyed staying there, it can be a bit of a walk on campus but at least it's a way to keep moving to not gain too much weight while eating their great food in the cafe or off campus restaurants. I was a RM one year and loved that I had my own room/bathroom and it did come with some responsibilities but well worth it and a great privilege to be one. Many freshman are usually in this dorm so it is not super quiet but it is a nice place to be to meet friends your first year on campus.
