I lived in a single person dorm in Philippi Hall, and really appreciated how close it was to Brooks Dining Hall and the Student Center. It's a bit of a walk to the other school buildings, but it's not too bad. The room was in good condition when I moved in, and close to the single person bathrooms, which usually were in good condition- they did get a little messy at times. The key cards used for unlocking our doors were a bit finicky at times as well. The custodians were really nice, as well as my RA's. As a college freshman, this was a great first experience with living in dorms.
