Upton Hastings Hall Dorm Reviews at USM

Upton Hastings is o e of the older dorms on Campus. It's mostly freshman housing so it's not great. There are a lot of three person dorms so if you are in there you probably have two roommates. The bathrooms are shared by each hall, a hall being probably 15-20 dorms

The location of the dorm building is really nice. A few minutes walk from the Cafeteria, 5 or more minutes from the Gymnasium. Everything is close by to the dorm building, which really comes in handy.

The experience has been nothing but great with making friends and knowing that I am in a safe place. All of the RA’s are super nice and willing to help no matter what. Definitely has bee different due to Covid - 19.

My experience with Upton Hastings Hall was an interesting one. I met new friends and lost people I thought was friends. My RA was excellent and always very helpful. It was quiet for the most part but some instances where music was too loud, too late.

My experience with Upton Hastings was a great experience. Being close to the cafe was great, and having the mail, health, and other services in the building was helpful. The location of my building helped me out a lot, I didn't have to walk too far to get to my car, or to the cafe, and the other buildings.

Amazing accommodations and space. The building was beautiful and was routinely kept. I had a room that looked like it was half-finished, though. Great residence hall, wish it had been closer to the other buildings.
