RHNW - Residence Hall Northwest Dorm Reviews at UT Dallas

For the most part it was OK. The location left some to be desired as most of the academic facilities were far away. Your roommates can vary from friendly to down right strange. For example, my two roommates were a gamer bro I spoke maybe three sentences to the whole year and an Asian Neo-Nazi so the actual dorm experience was not great for me.

The dorms are amazing!!! Very spacious and comfortable! The common area and 3 separate bedrooms make the dorm a dream to live in! Also having your own shower and toilet is super important!! Three separate sinks are wonderful!

My experience was great RHNW has really big rooms with great infrastructure. It was really spacious and well located within the campus. The building was kept very clean and the staff was very nice. One of my only gripes is that it was hard to find seating area outside my room at times in the common areas. Apart from that I can't reccomend it enough the rooms are just so great and big so you can truly relax.

I stayed at RHNW in 2020 during the COVID 19 pandemic so there were not alot of students at the dorm at the time. The dorm itself is clean for sure, and the hallways leading to the dorm room are always clean as well. The temperature is always at a nice cool level which is great because it is always hot in Dallas. If you do not have a car you may have trouble getting to places like the food hall and library because its kinda far from things but I guess its a good work out if you are into that stuff. All in all though RHNW is a good hall to live in.

This was probably the furthest dorm from any classroom buildings, but it was always quiet and very clean. The staff was friendly and the fact of having an individual bedroom was awesome. 3 individual bedrooms shared a suite with a toilet, 3 sinks, and a shower, and a living area.

Honestly, this residence hall really has become my home during this semester. The staff is friendly and definitely help keep this place Corona free. I am overall happy with my experience here except for initial hiccups. There were ants at the beginning but pest control came in and fixed it. We had a few electrical issues with short-circuiting outlets but again the maintenance team fixed it right up.

Residential Hall Northwest houses people grouped by school. The only two downsides are that the walls are fairly thin and the toilets flush very loudly. Nonetheless, it was a safe and clean community with friendly student workers.
