RHS - Residence Hall South Dorm Reviews at UT Dallas

I think Res Hall South wasn't the best because it's the oldest res hall but it had its perk of being the closest dorm to campus! The maintenance wasn't really the best because nothing really got fixed until a month after it being reported.

It was very nice and comfortable. The area is clean and quiet. I enjoyed my time at the Residence Hall South, and I would recommend anyone to live at this residential area. It was very satisfactory, and I had a good time.

Incredibly amazing experience so far. The environment is clean and fresh, which is great for students who are trying to study. It's very welcoming, yet also gives us our own personal space to thrive. I think the students and staff takes great care of the building altogether and keeps it very organized, clean, and most importantly safe.

COVID probably changed my experience, but overall I found the residence hall very nice. The lobby is set up nicely and is very comfortable, and people often hang out there on weekends, even with COVID (socially distanced, of course). There is a study room outside of each of the 8 individual hallways, and the common kitchen in the lobby is set up well and easy to check out for use.

Honestly, if it weren't so damn expensive and if they didn't make you move to the apartments after the first year, I would have stayed there. Great experience, first years should definitely stay if they can afford it.
