Miner Village Dorm Reviews at UTEP

Miner Village has allowed me to create so many memories with friends and neighbors, I have made connections here that hopefully will be kept forever. However, I do believe that the rooms need more maintenance.

Like an apartment, you would get one roommate, but each would have their own room, shared bathroom, bathroom shower is kind of small but functional, fully furnished. Closed to campus and to many food chain restaurants. Good location overall, it has common areas, grass sections and volleyball court.

My overall experience was well, the food was delicious, the room was spacious considering it is a dorm, the showers were in good condition, my roommate was very friendly and outgoing, and the dorm itself has comfortable bedding.

Miner Village is a quiet place to be during the semester. Mainly the football and track team resides here, during the week they are respectful of peoples privacy and etc. During the weekend we all meet up outside and play volleyball or host a sport tournament.

I was awesome i really got to apenas time with friends and meet new people, was a great opportunity were i leerned much about myself and grew as a person learning how to be independent, it was helpful when to study was close to campus

There was a water leaking and the maintenance workers showed up less than 24 hrs to fix it. The laundry area on campus have huge washers and dryer for big comforters and it’s free. Everything I need to go to, is within 2 miles radius, such as restaurants, etc.

When I lived at Miner Village, I loved that it was so close to campus! I was never late to class, because It was so close! It is also close to a lot of fast food restaurants like McDonalds, Whataburger, and Canes. My miner village RA was so sweet and very helpful! Another thing I love is that they have a sand volleyball court! I would spend time there with friends. Some students would play loud music at times, but overall it was a great experience! I recommend it!
