Almetris Duren Hall Dorm Reviews at UT Austin

It was very nice, I had a shared room with a private bathroom. The location was a little inconvenient, but still nice because there was an In-N-Out across the street. My roommate and I kept our room clean, so it felt cozy, and I never felt uncomfortable.

Coming to college, I was expecting a lot of change and challenges to come my way. I knew that choosing a dorm on campus would help me feel more comfortable and feel more connected to other students on campus despite the circumstances of the current pandemic. Duren contains staff and RA's that deeply care for the safety and comfort of it's residents. They provide us with interactive zoom calls and movie nights frequently. Though it is a small dorm, it feels cozy and spacious to many. There is a dining hall right across the street from this small dorm so there is always accessibility to food.
