McAuley Dorm Reviews at University of Vermont

McAuley is father away from campus but I personally like it because it gives me a separation from school and fun. Because it is a little father you really bond with those in your building. The rooms are a little bigger than others in different parts of campus

The experience at McAuley was pretty terrible. Every single night people were playing guitars / saxophones / whatever instrument the had well past 11. There was never a time where the sirens from the police or ambulance could not be heard. I order to actually get a decent sleep, I had to get earplugs because the noise would keep you up all night otherwise. This was exacerbated by the fact that there were no RA's or staff around either so the people could gather in groups as close as they could or scream as loud, and late in the night as they wanted. Furthermore McAuley is so isolated from the main campus that if you have to walk to class you should be ready to leave 20-30 minutes early. The only saving graces I found were the people in the dorms, they were extremely friendly and helpful to others.
