University Heights South Dorm Reviews at University of Vermont

It's been quiet and relaxing, laundry can be busy on the weekends when everyone is doing it, but other than that it's fine. Its also a tad far away from the classrooms, however the walk is worth it for the airconditioning.

University Heights South was one of the nicest freshman dorms I have ever seen. I was incredibly lucky to live there. I shared a dorm room with one roommate and then was connected to my suitemates through a Jack and Jill bathroom. Sometimes common rooms were filed since there were not enough of them.

I love being in this building because it is so close to the gym and a lot of my friends live on Athletic Campus. I enjoy how it is in the middle of Redstone and Central because my walks to and from class aren't that long. Also a perk is that my floor is all sophomores so I have been able to connect with people that are in the same grade as me. I think this is one of the nicest dorms on campus! I lived in Millis last year and it was a little confusing to get around. Also I like how my room has the bathroom in it so I don't have to share a comunal one for covid reasons.

Great location and nicest dorms other than central campus. Mostly quiet but people above me are loud and even though we have complained multiple times, they still are loud. Maintenance is great I anything breaks and they come within 20 mins.

UHeights South is at a great location on campus, it's in between Central Campus and Redstone Campus and has many bus stops near, so getting to class or anywhere is easy and doesn't take too long. The building itself is fairly big and kept clean. Each floor has common rooms, and each dorm has a private bathroom that is shared with only your roommate(s). Unlike most of the other dorms on campus, there is AC here, but UVM tends to turn it off early in the fall semester. The building also has a green roof, where you can sit outside and do work or hang out. The ground floor has a kitchen that also has vending machines and plenty of seating.
