Centennial Hall Dorm Reviews at Valdosta State

The only thing that could improve would be maintenance, the door pads are all dead so we use manual keys as well and work orders need to be prioritized more and actually need to be taken seriously. Other than that Centennial is nice and secluded and away from campus and away from the main campus so it is a walk or a small drive every day to class.

I liked that Centennial Hall was a short distance away from the main campus and also right across from the gym and parking deck. You never have to walk too far to/from your car. I also loved that Centennial has its own store; it's like a Family Dollar and Subway in combined.

Centennial Hall is a comfortable residence to settle in after your first year or two at the University. With Semi-Private bathrooms and a shared kitchen and living space with three other dormmates, Centennial is a great place to both study and relax. There are plenty of study rooms--that not many use--as well as there being external sound-proofed music rooms, with own ventilation system, for those in the arts. There is also an activity room and computer lab with a black and white printer available to all residents. Centennial is fairly close to campus less than one-mile away from the Student Union. So, if you are looking for a reasonable living with a group of friends or just other students then Centennial can be a breathe of fresh air.

I lived in Centennial Hall for almost two years when I was a student at Valdosta State University. I enjoyed my stay there. It is an apartment style hall. I had my own room which was nice. Also there was a shuttle that you could use to ride to campus during the week.

I’ve been there for a semester so far and it’s nice and quiet. It looks so pretty with all of the palm trees surrounding it. The janitors and on campus staff are super friendly. I would definitely recommend this before getting an apartment

It’s an amazing dorm there’s a kitchen, two bathrooms, a living room, a dining room, a fridge, a stove, 4 fully furnished bedrooms, and a sofas. It’s the same as living in an apartment with a couple roommates. I love it there.

I have been living in Centennial Hall for fall semester, and because it is an apartment style dorm, cleaning is done by individuals that live there. If we have a problem, maintenance is called and they come in a timely manner and are very nice. Factoring in COVID-19, staff still try to keep the common areas clean and have a nice attitude about it. My experience living in Centennial has been good.
