Langdale Hall Dorm Reviews at Valdosta State

I loved my time in Langdale. I love the building, and the staff. Everyone on staff was always smiling and greeting everyone as they walked though the building. Langdale really gave me a since of community because the building shares a lot of things like elevators, bathrooms, a kitchen, and conference/study rooms, so you get to meet a lot of new people which is nice.

At first, I was very scared to start my first year of college and to meet my roommate and everyone in the hall. I would like to start by saying that because of the great hall I'm currently living in I've made so many different people and I'm sure friendships that will last for a long time. The RA of our halls is also a very caring hardworking person, she always helped me with classes or if I needed a resume for an internship. Overall, living on campus has changed my life so I definitely recommend if you're deciding between on campus, commuting, or an apartment I would defiantly recommend is you can live your first year on campus get that college experience, and make lifelong connections.

Langdale Hall was the best part of my experience for freshman year. The biggest problem was keeping the bathrooms clean and getting maintenance problems fixed, such as fixing the clogged sink. Other than that everyone is extremely friendly and makes you feel at home.

I’ve started staying here at Lang dale hall since the start of fall 2020 semester. So far I’ve enjoyed my experience here, I’ve gotten to meet new people and make new experiences. I’d recommend this hall to anyone.

As a first year freshman, Langdale hall has been quite okay for me. It's been a good experience just for my first year. Everyone is cool with each other and brings upon new bonds at college. I enjoyed myself.

Loud from the floor above, my hallway sent constant complaints and the situation was not properly handled. Market is also too expensive. The location is great since its next to the dining halls and the events are great.

I had a love/hate relationship with Langdale Hall. It was very noisy sometimes, especially on weekends. Fire drills were very common on this hall. The laundry room was always clean, I never had a problem with it. I was not fond of the community style bathroom & shower, but I got used to it within a month of living there. I met tons of friends on my hall that I still talk to to this day. Would I live in Langdale Hall again if given the chance? No. Would I recommend to a friend? Yes.

I haven't been in Langdale Hall for long, however, it is quite cramped. Everyone on campus usually has a comment about Langdale. People come and go, some blast music in the halls. The only good thing about the rooms in general is that the walls aren't thin. If you hit something on the wall, then yes it can be heard, but voices or music not a sound.

Was somewhat decent. The hall is very eerie and the location at night makes you feel somewhat unsafe during the nigh time. I also heard that the building was once an asylum which is not surprising. I've experienced some unexplained things during the night myself there. Very scary vibe.
