Gillette House Dorm Reviews at Vanderbilt

Great location, dorms were definitely smaller than some of the newer houses but everything was kept in good/clean condition. Bathrooms were big. Nice common areas on the first floor to study/hang out !

Gillette House isn't the fanciest house at Vanderbilt (it's one of the oldest) but overall, I think it's really okay. The rooms may be a little too small to accommodate two people though (I can't say for sure since we're all living alone because of Covid). I think the faculty head of house is a great person too.

It was a wonderful bonding experience but the space was really small which meant I often felt cramped or isolated. While the staff was absolutely wonderful, the windows did not open sometimes and the lack of access to fresh air was inconvenient.
