Stanford Hall Dorm Reviews at Villanova

It overall has been a mainly positive experience. I typically have my friends over in the lounges at night to study and do homework. Our hall has a nice gym in the basement which is great for working out. The one main issue is that on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights it can get pretty loud in the hallways due to people going out and the RAs sometimes struggle to keep the noise level down for people who are studying in the lounge.

Stanford Hall is a place where you will have the true college experience if you know the right people. Stanford is broken up into three wings, each wing having five floors. Most likely the wing that you will live in will all become friends which makes studying and keeping the dorm quite impossible. Stanford was always active on weekend nights. People having dorm parties or waiting for Uber, you will always hear music and be able to make new friends super easily. Stanford is definitely the best dorm building to live in when you are a freshman on south campus. The bathrooms can get gross, but what do you expect when 12 guys share one bathroom? They get cleaned weekly, so it is not terrible.

I loved living in Stanford for my freshman year, it is one of the coolest freshman dorms on campus! As a freshman you really get to know your community and make long lasting friendships! It isn't the safest dorm on campus, but it was tons of fun!

Living in Stanford was a pretty good experience! The common areas were nice and the rooms were small and basic, but okay. Lots of stairs if you are on a higher floor. Nice to be near a dining hall and all the other freshman dorms.
