Vigo Hall Dorm Reviews at VU

I’m in the third floor and so far the people haven’t made a ruckus or binging on our doors ( at least for my side of the wing). The bathroom need some work with the green side shower heads suddenly gone and toilets being left unflushed. The laundry room is on the second floor and would always be available while the kitchen, which is also on the second floor, is usually locked and would need to go to the lobby to receive a key during food hours. Please bring your own quarters because the laundry room has no way to exchange your dollars into coins.

It’s very quiet at my side of the hall and you’ll barely bump into someone in the bathrooms. However, people have been leaving a mess on the sinks and are not flushing their toilets. The kitchen and laundry are at the second floor. There hasn’t been a problem with laundry being full although it’s really annoying that the kitchen is always locked unless there are certain hours that are open.

Most of the time it is clean, I don't have a problem with the hall. I wish we were aloud to visit other friends dorm, I understand we can't because of COVID but if we take the necessary precautions I don't see a problem.

I really enjoyed my dorm experience at VU! Yes, it was noisy at times, but that’s expected at a college. The staff was great, and I really had fun! Living in the dorm room really made me grow up, because I was on my own. It made more stronger!

It is a nice hall, but there is room for improvement. The other residents are kind of loud, and you can hear your upstairs neighbors easily. Plus the laundry room is small. The RA's that I have encountered all have been respectful and care for everyone's wellbeing.
