Newman Hall Dorm Reviews at VA Tech

In Newman Hall, I felt safe and secure. The location was optimal for me, as it was a short distance from downtown and the library. My only complaint was the first floor bathrooms; students treated these very poorly and ruined my view of the dormitory.

Newman is kind of a "low-key" dorm. There is not much to do, but it has a good location. It's very close to Owens food court, and it's not too far from Dietrick. However, it's very far from Turner. It's also a semi-short walk to Washington St., but it's pretty far from Lane in my opinion.

Newman hall is a tight nit and very close community of students! There are many cool people that I have met in my time here. The facilities, location, and environment are amazing. If you are looking for a place that allows you to meet many great and friendly people, Newman Hall is a great place for you.
