I enjoyed staying at Fairfield Hall when I was at WCSU. It was close to all my classes on Midtown campus and I never felt unsafe there. I liked that there were different sized rooms available. Most were a standard double occupancy, but there were also some nice big rooms for 3 or 4 occupants that had its own bathroom. The dorm was for women only, which I think really helped cut down on the noise level.
