Claflin Hall Dorm Reviews at Wellesley

It's design is much like that of old 1800s architecture. The grand room of attraction is based on a variety of plays (some of which I think were by William Shakespeare). In that room is a piano and a large corridor-like space that has little neches and rounded-out seating around the perimeter. Winter: It gets cold around the winter, but they try to keep it heated enough for one to be comfortable. The seating areas a popularly occupied during the winter Summer: It's very cool since they have very long windows that they crack open to allow some fresh breeze inside. Overall: It is overall a nice space that people go to often times be quiet or to step away from their dorm. There is also, a small space on the side next to where the Claflin housing director stays, but its also a relatively quiet space, so don't let its location scare you. Overall, nice place to be. Not too close to where classes are held, but close to where people go when they want a peaceful nature walk. So, I, personally, preferred this compared to other dorms that are closer to where the best dinning halls are or the dorms closer to where classes are held.

It is centrally located on campus and very welcoming.The common room is giant along with a large basement area. All areas of the dorm are very clean. The college bakery is in the basement so we wake up to delicious smells.

I love Claflin! The location is great, near dining halls and academic buildings, with a large common room and tight knit community. The rooms are updated and clean. We have all been able to adapt to COVID safety requirements.

The incredible sense of community withstands the pandemic. This historic building has been upgraded with new wood floors. The location overlooks the lake and is easily accessible to the dining halls. Beautiful!
