Center Pointe Suites Dorm Reviews at UWG

Center Pointe Suites provided my roommate and I with a comfortable room that enabled me to feel like it was a home away from home. I became attached to that small room and I always felt safe inside of it.

Fire alarms are easily triggered and they will have you outside in the cold at 5am. Guests were not allowed at all even if they attended.The walk to majority of the classes and dining halls are about 10 minutes from Center Pointe Suites. Alot of the places that deliver fod around the school cannot find the dorms address.

It’s great, gets a little noisy sometimes but that to be expected we’re in college and having fun. Everyone is friendly and there’s almost never any problems with people’s rooms. I’d recommend it to a friend.

Overall CPS has been an okay place to stay. There is a lot of noise but this is to be expected with a mostly freshman residency hall. One thing I am extremely dissatisfied with is the parking situation. There is no bus stop closer than a ten minute walk away from the dorm and there is very little parking even slightly close to the dorms.

I enjoyed residing here. I have met many people while staying here and I've had a lot of fun. The Wi-Fi sometimes doesn't work while I am in my dorm room, so I usually end up doing most of my school work in a lounge on my hallway.

I have loved living at center point suites. My roommate and I get along very well and everyone living on our hallway is very nice and willing to give a helping hand if needed. The dorms are a good size but the bathrooms are a little small, but manageable.

Centerpointe while it isn’t the worst it certainly isn’t the best. The shower water pressure is not good at all. Also there is a high possibility you will get ants. Also you will probably smell marijuana at some point.

I lived in Center Pointe Suites when I was a freshman in 2018. For the most part, the building stayed quiet. The staff was mostly student employees and a lot of them worked long hours on top of classes which made them a lot less patient and attentive when it came to helping residents. The building was very clean, however, and the best part was the study rooms, as most of them had really good views and were rarely used during the day. This dormitory is a bit of a walk from campus and the main buildings, but in the mornings the walk was really pleasant and I got my steps in. All in all, I enjoyed living at Center Pointe Suites during my first year.

I currently reside in a shared room with a personal restroom. The room itself is plenty of room, bigger than some others I have seen at other colleges. The bathroom is also a perfect size plus it is only used between me and my roommate. The biggest complaint I have is the noise level with the people above us, you can hear them walking around the room and even opening up drawers, some nights students will be obnoxiously loud in the halls but it does not last long. There has been a few times I have had to call maintenance, clogged sink and issues with the AC, both times I received help within 1-3 days. The building is unfortunately further from most of the other buildings, there is a dining hall 5 minutes from the building but it is closed on the weekends and closes earlier than the one 10 minutes away.

My time at center pointe suites has been well. I have had a room to myself for the past three years and have enjoyed it. I always see the place being clean and never have a problem with maintenance. The only thing I have to complain about is the parking. This dorm is for upperclassmen and first-year students.There is limited parking and needs more space.
