Although my dorm reminds me of a confusing mix of suburban-meets-colonial style architecture, it's in a great location on campus: right across the dining hall and a breezy walk to most classes. What it lacks in typical collegiate rambunctiousness is made up for in generally studious, generous individuals minding their own businesses yet willing to lend a neighborly hand.
I feel quite safe since security sweeps the halls in the wee hours of the night and the locks on the entrances are frequently checked. Overall it's
a pleasant, quiet, and welcoming space staffed by hard-working and caring people who want to help in any way they can.
