It was nice to be surrounded by freshman. We were all learning about the college experience together. Each night there was some sort of activity planned which was a good way to meet other people. During the second semester a group of people hung out in the lounge right outside my room and were super loud way past quiet hours. There were times I had to contact an RA because they were there until 2-3 in the morning on a school night and it was impossible to sleep with all the noise. The next morning there would always be trash all over the lounge. I wish the RAs would've done something about it. But overall, I did enjoy my dorm and my roommate, and I became inseparable best friends.
