Prentiss-Lucas Dorm Reviews at Winona State

The no A/C is honestly pretty brutal. It has been 90-100 degrees and a couple of days are over 100 degrees. The school said kids could sleep in common spaces with A/C from 9pm-7am which is sort of ridiculous we were all dying and who wants to sleep in a common space when nobody else does. Other than that Prentiss-Lucas is not bad. It is nice we have a sink in our room.

It is quiet small. No A/C so when it gets hot it's hot! I do like that there is a lounge area with a full kitchen on each floor. The maintenance of the building can be a lot cleaner. I don't like that we have to walk our trash out so far to dump it.

Prentiss-Lucas is on main campus and all of the academic buildings are within a 5 minute walk from the hall. It's also very clean and all of the staff is quite friendly. There is security at the front desk at a certain time at night to ensure the students are safe.

The dorms had excellent location to main campus classes. I didn't have any issues with noise in the year I lived in the dorms. I don't remember using the common space or it being anything spectacular. The staff was nice and kept the place clean.
