Phillips is a quaint hall located right next to Lake Mendota, allowing people each morning to wake up to a fantastic view of the lake. While the ceilings may be on the tight end for bunking; this dorm is unique in that it offers services like personal bathrooms, air conditioning, and heating. Another perk is that each of the four floors include a renovated common room along with washers and dryers, making laundry 10 times easier than some of the other dorms I have been to. As for noise, the walls are built with cinderblocks, which diminishes the noise by quite a bit and allows everyone to feel like they own a private space to themselves.
