Rodes Harlin Hall Dorm Reviews at WKU

Rodes Harlin Hall is located in a convenient area, but in 2019 and 2020 when I was a resident, it had the presence of cockroaches and was pretty dirty due to students not taking care of the building properly.

Rodes Harlin Hall isn't a "bad" dormitory, nor is it completely good. It has its moments where there are roaches in the bathrooms or in the shower rooms. Yet, it has its good moments where there's good sanitation in common areas. It's like any other dormitory out there, well, any other old dorms. I don't blame Rodes Harlin's maintenance for some aspects of the building such as peeling paint, faulty elevators(at times), and having to clean up after childish college students. But, they should take responsibility for broken toilet seats, air conditioners, and windows that refuse to shut. All in all, I would still recommend Rodes Harlin to a friend because of the fact other dorms have the same problems.

During my time living in Rodes, there were a lot of issues with cockroaches, everywhere. The building is just very humid all of the time. The community I was able to get from the building was good, but the environment was not.
