Lyden House Dorm Reviews at Youngstown State

I would say it was a decent experience. It was loud and sometimes the bathrooms were not the cleanest. Besides all that I made lots of friends that made up for all the cons. There were many times that our RA would join us in the hallways for group discussions.

I enjoyed living in Lyden and would recommend it to others. The people are very nice and it is a pleasant place to live for your freshman year of college. The location is not the greatest but there are always people there in case you need them.

The workers at Lyden have really made it known to all dorm residents that they aren't just there for us as Resident Assistants, they're there for us no matter the situation. They always host little activities for each hall to help with bonding exercises because that's what college is all about: getting to know your fellow dorm mates and making some of the best friendships in your life that you will ever experience.

The welcoming atmosphere allowed me to go outside of my comfort zone and reach out to people. Which, in turn, introduced me to my best friend. The memories made here will be ones I will remember for life.

It’s a great place a little far from campus. The rooms are descent but furniture is a little dated. The elevator seems to be broken every other week and can be very scared at time. There a great space in the basement to hangout.
