It’s the only coed dorm so that was cool. The bathrooms are moldy but that’s every dorm at State. The staff is pretty cool. A lot of noise and parties on the average night. Very strict on visitation. more

It was a great experience. I always felt safe and if I experienced any issues maintenance wise there was always someone to help. The adult supervisory staff was always helpful and concerned about my well being. The student staff was also helpful. more

I always enjoyed my roommates. The cleanliness of the rooms was not always together. Even in the bathroom, wallpaper was coming a part and towel racks had fallen. It was an ok experience but it could have been better. more

New Facility II

This is my first time in this Facility as a sophomore here at Alabama State University. When I moved in there was a big issue that affected my stay. The outlets in my room can't handle my fridge and my microwave being plugged in at the same time. This has caused for the rearrangement of my room several times. Other than that there have been minor issues such as spots in the carpet and the missing handle to hold the toilet paper up. Overall, Facility 2 is better than the dorm I stayed in last year and I can still enjoy my stay. more

Living in George N Card Hall was an absolute blast! From the moment I moved in, I felt a sense of community and belonging. The hallmates were amazing, always up for a chat or a movie night. The dorm itself was cozy and comfortable, with plenty of space to make it feel like home. And let's not forget about the location - being close to campus and all the amenities made life so convenient. Whether it was studying in the common area or hanging out in the courtyard, George N Card Hall was the perfect place to create lifelong memories. more
