Bessie Sears Estell Hall Dorm Reviews at Alabama State

It was amazing. It just made me feel at home. Once I decorated and organized, it just made me feel comfortable. Bessie Estell Hall is a hall I would recommend to a friend because it has the best dorms that would make you feel at home.

My experience at Bessie Sears Estell Hall was not so great especially for my first year there. There was various of complaints I had made to the area coordinator of the dormitory, but my main compliant was mold in my room. I realized that I was becoming sick and my chest was hurting. I decided to inspect the room just to find moldy spots on my bed frame.

The building itself is not perfect but you have to clean before you go in and you have to make your dorm your home. The girls in the dorm are one big happy family and if you need anything other girls do not mind sharing.

In comparison to the other halls on campus it is nice. I would recommend if you don’t want to share a bathroom with a lot of people. The girls that stay in Bessie mind their own business and want to support everybody.

It's ok once it's clean. The walls are kinda thin.I wish there was more interaction with my RA. I also wish I had a little bit more space but I can make do with what was there. I believe your home is what you make it.

When I first moved in it was a little difficult living with our suitemates. Since me and my roommate have switched rooms, everything has been amazing. We haven't had any problems with others or problems with our room.

Great experience we’ll recommend and great staff cleanliness was a little bad and my drawer was never fixed air was out on the first day but everything else was ok the wash room was pretty clean I enjoyed staying there
