Both Schyler and Beverwyck were recently renovated. They have amenities that older dorms don't like AC, thermostats, lounges with TVs, and card swipes for the suite doors. One of the best dorms on campus. Other renovated dorms include Mohawk Tower on Indigenous Quad and Tappan/Whitman on State Quad.

Every week I was greeted by an irritating, familiar smell - weed. There was constant construction throughout the year and students yelling late into the night. The rooms are relatively big compared to some of the dorms in State Quad. Dutch Quad is the closest quad to the Campus Center so buying food is quick and easy.

It wasnβt the best, they didnβt exactly help when we needed and the rooms were pretty dusty to start. The heaters never really shut off and we didnβt have hot water for half a semester. Although, it is in a very convenient place on campus so out of the two sophmore living options, Iβd recommend dutch.

Small rooms that are plain. Closet is decent, though try to pack as light as you can because it is very crammed & tight. The lighting is very dim so bring your own small, bright desk lamp. Also get a good mattress topper because the mattress provided may as well be a brick.

Really great experience, close to all my classes and places I Frequented. A lot of good memories. The food was acceptable, it was close to the recreation building which was great for those that like to work out. The atmosphere was friendly and usually had a good time on Dutch.
