Oneida Hall Dorm Reviews at Binghamton

Oneida Hall in College in the Woods was fun, although it needed renovations in stairways and bathrooms. College in the Woods community is fantastic, lots of fun activitiesfir our community. Sand volleyball pit is fun. Met great forever friends in laundry room.

Building is outdated, problems do not get fixed in a timely manner, elevators break down, bathrooms not cleaned enough, ants in building, all dryers do not work, walls are very thin, outdated locks on dorm doors.

The rooms are small and come with preexisting holes in the wall. The bathrooms are dirty and no one cares. The noise is not too bad, I personally have not had any issues with it. But, there is always someone playing music loud, so just hope you don't have to live next to them.

Oneida has given me a an experience that I cannot complain about, yet I know there are better living situations on campus. First off, the location of Oneida is close to the center of campus, but there are many staircases to climb which can be an annoyance on rainy days. Our community has been nice as we have many common areas and quads to convene and meet people during such a difficult time to engage within the community. We have the best RA's and overall the building is not bad to reside in but other communities are known to be much better in terms of style.

I lived in this dorm my freshman year of college, so many of my memories of making friends and adjusting to college life happened in this dorm. Overall, I had an amazing experience in Oneida, even if the building itself was dingy.
