Warren Towers Dorm Reviews at BU

As a resident of the 16th floor in Warren Tower B, I have enjoyed breathtaking views of the cityscape and the Charles River. The community here is vibrant and diverse, with fellow students from various backgrounds coming together to form lasting friendships. The convenience of living on campus has made it easy to immerse myself in campus life and take advantage of all that BU has to offer. From the bustling dining halls to the quiet study spaces, Warren Towers has provided a comfortable and welcoming home base for my college journey.

My experience at Warren is overall not bad, my floor is clear, however sometimes there are noises mainly on weekend nights. the food is OK not that bad, the laundry gets busy very quickly mainly Friday, Sat and Sunday the location is the best part of warren is that it's in the middle of the campus, and close to all of the buildings where classes are helped.

Warren Towers was in a really good spot for me because all of my classes were on Central Campus. The other students tend to keep to themselves or their pre-made friend group, so it’s hard to make friends just by living there. The cleaners do pick inconvenient times to clean the bathrooms, especially in the morning or mid afternoon. The dining is pretty standard, but since Warren is in the middle of campus, it’s not hard to find other places to eat. Honestly, Warren is really cozy and for freshman dorm living it’s not that bad.

The double room I was in was more spacious than expected, with huge windows. The dining hall being in the building is incredibly convenient. Common areas have no windows and resemble prison cells. Showers regularly would not drain. Mostly clean. Amazing location right in the middle of campus.

It is not the cleanest dorm that you'll find. But at the same time, it has its benefits for freshmen, which are making new freshmen friends and is very close to major CAS classes that you will be taking!

The carpets are quite dirty but its in a good location and I really appreciate how all of the freshman are together, that being said the building itself is quite old so the bathrooms are not up to date and you sometimes have to wait a long while for the elevators.

Great dorm for freshmen, central location to classes and super accessible with an indoor dining hall, laundry rooms, study lounges, mail room, etc. Pretty good mix of quiet and social, staff and maintenance were good.

Warren Towers is in a great location on campus for going to classes and if you live on a higher up floor you will have a great view of the city. It is an old building and the rooms are not the best but has a dining hall and many people to meet. Great experience for freshmen year, but would not choose to live there again.

Being a part of Warren Towers was a great experience. I enjoyed being on the College of Communication floor and learning from others who had similar career objectives. I highly recommend this dorm to other students.

Sharing a bathroom with the whole floor isn't very convenient during a pandemic but the location is very convenient and it's in the middle of campus. The rooms are pretty big but the heater is always on so it is quite hot in the summer time.

As a freshman, it's pretty common to be in Warren towers. You get some good views if you in A or C tower and facing away from B tower. C tower gets the watch the sunset and A tower watches the sunrise. The showers are pretty small but you do get ample elbow space and plus some. My floor at least had a problem with silverfish. They are pretty hard to see with the dark carpet though. One note would be to not trust the carpet it is absolutely filthy (always wear slippers or shoes). I think the greatest perk would be how close classes are.

Warren Towers was a really convenient dorm for my freshman year because it helped me find my best friends right now. The convenience of the dining hall, printer room and laundry room being only an elevator ride away from my room was really useful when I was trying to navigate my way through a new place!

I was very hesitant about living here during the pandemic but after moving in, I feel very comfortable. Warren towers go by the rule very strictly and you are required to wear a mask in public areas. Students are very nice and has a very convenient location!

Boston University itself is a wonderful and beautiful place to live in. Everyone that lives in Warren is super friendly. There are many places around the campus where you can get a quick snack or find cafe where you want to study in or just simply hanging out with friends.

This dorm building is definitely older and not modern but it serves as a really nice place for freshmen. The rooms are not very welcoming so I would definitely recommend putting in the time and effort to make it feel warm and cozy. In contrast, the staff is absolutely amazing and they're so funny.

Alright place to live freshman/sophomore year. A bit ugly. I don't know about other floors, but our men's bathroom is missing a few pieces (showerheads, shower bars), making showering POSSIBLE, but a little inconvenient. Unsure if this is every floor though. But overall there's a dining hall in the building (which is pretty good) and it is in the middle of campus, a quick walk from COM/Questrom/CAS. Staff is nice. RAs are chill. Not QUITE a party dorm but if you're there to study or make friends it's definitely a good place!

It’s a great large residence for freshmen to meet new people. It’s in a central location on campus and close to a lot of academic buildings. It also has laundry rooms, a mailroom, study rooms, and a dining hall.

I loved the location of Warren. It was close to all classes (other than CGS, which isn't a popular class building unless you are in CGS) and there was a dining hall in the building as well as a Starbucks, convenience store, and smoothie bar downstairs so you didn't have to go very far to get what you needed. The T stop outside the dorm made it very easy to travel into the city and if it was nice out the walk to Back Bay didn't take long. Warren is a very large dorm with a lack of common areas, so it can be hard to meet people. The rooms are set up in a way that it's impossible to rearrange the furniture, but there is a lot of storage space with shelves in the walls and lots of closet space.

Warren is a great dorm for freshmen! You can really get an authentic "freshmen experience" with this dorm, though the dorms themselves are pretty average. I've enjoyed my time here, and when my room needed maintenance, Res. Life sent someone to fix it within two days.

Warren Towers is a great freshmen year dorm because it is in the midst of a lot of buildings and classes. There aren't that many rooms on one floor so it is easier to make friends and to get to know a lot of people. It is cleaned daily, but there are some maintenance problems and the dorms aren't as clean as I would like them to be.
