Swarthout Hall

Swarthout Hall is a quiet place that you can get a lot of work done and do not have to worry about people being loud at night. It is in a great location and you can roll out of bed and make it to class in 5 minutes. The RAs are very friendly and involved and want to get to know each of the residents. All of my friends live on my floor so it is very nice getting to know all of the girls. more

North Bergstrom

More of a party dorm, had a great time. Communal bathrooms are not the best but this residence hall made it work! There were five floors, three for girls and two for boys. I lived on the fourth floor and always enjoyed going down to the boys floor (1st) more

St. Charles has a good environment. My neighbors are kind, open, and most of all very sharing. If I need anything I'm not afraid to ask my neighbors, and like-wise. My dorm is generally quiet, which is nice when I need a quiet space. more

Borromeo Hall

Borromeo is an all-female dorm with mostly single occupancy rooms which makes for a typically quiet environment. Borro is one of the more convenient dorms to live in on campus. Borro is a great place to build community and be connected. more

Shirley Hilger Hall

Shirley Hilger Hall is the perfect location and connects to the student center which is really nice on cold and/or rainy days. The rooms are really big and the bathroom is larger than expected. Different layouts depending on the floor/wing you are on. This hall has elevators and stairs plus mini kitchens on the 2nd and 3rd floor! I can never hear my neighbors so decently quiet. Has air conditioning! more

Steele Hall

I loved living in Steele hall. Everyone who worked there were nice and helpful. The location of the hall was the best thing about it. It is in the middle of every thing. You could get anywhere on campus in about 5 minutes. more

Kilgour Hall

due to COVID I have stayed in my own double room.the furniture was all in good condition and the staff at Kilgour was very good. However, I think Kilgour was a very good Dorm experience and would recommend it to prospective Carrol students more
